Principal

Jeffrey Sánchez is the Principal of SSLLC and a former Chairman of the Massachusetts House Committee on Ways and Means. He provides strategic legislative and policy advisory services to mission-driven organizations, with a focus on healthcare, fiscal policy, and complex public policy issues.

Jeffrey served for sixteen years in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing Mission Hill, Jamaica Plain, and Brookline. During his tenure, he was recognized for leadership on healthcare reform, housing, gun safety, criminal justice reform, and equity-focused policy initiatives. He concluded his legislative service as Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, where he played a central role in shaping the Commonwealth’s budget and fiscal priorities.

Throughout his career, Jeffrey has emphasized collaboration, pragmatic problem-solving, and expanding opportunity for underserved communities. He holds degrees from Roxbury Community College, the University of Massachusetts Boston, and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and currently serves as an Instructor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
